Cheap tyres?
Does anyone know of any tyre deals around at the moment or coming up.
My hybrid burned its rear Avon Supersport in about 1700 miles, so looking for something a bit longer lasting and cheap.
Any thoughts (and prices)?

http://www.discountmotorcycletyres.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; have a deal on diablos...
but if it goes through tyres that quick try some part worn inters off a track bike (still road legal... just), you can usually pick them up for £30-£50 a tyre and they last quite a while.

Re: Cheap tyres?
The wear is quite a torn pattern so I don't think it's getting up to temperature. I also had the R6 shock on it which was very hard and probably didn't give it en easy time.
I've used ex track tyres before and they also struggle to get up to temperature on the road.
I will probably use a more road biased rear next time, although i am taking it on track soon, so will see how I get on.

Re: Cheap tyres?
i had d220's as standard on my sv they were ok and decent enough in the wet, got a pirelli dragon evo on it now, looks like a supercorsa but harder wearing, the straight forward pirelli diablo are supposed to be pretty good aswell. Did like the look of the dunlop sport something but cant remember the name and there are some maxxis super sport that look good too, and they are about £170 a set so not too bad.
