Chris
I just found that garyboy_palaboy do this for this bike. And upload picture just for info. As for the smart comment - I would say looks good, buy first thing I would like to know is usability of this compare with standard damper connect to frame and forks.

Looks like you dislike garyboy_palaboy project. Yes, that very posh, but I would say this one of the best NC29 I ever see. Of course, maybe more reasonable will be just crash NC29 and buy R6 or anything else.. but why not. Many people said here that such damper never fit to NC29 and what... ? Damper fit... !!!

.

sorry if i forgot to share some info last time....

the steering damper i used came from an 07 Yamaha R6 (i tried other top mounted steering damper similar to Matris (WP,Ohlins) from other bike models, and theres a big chance it will fit too).

because of the stock bracket of the steering damper will have not that much space between the front cowl support bracket and the tank, we modified the tyga's bracket to connect the steering damper in place.

although i have another way on how i can use the stock steering dampers bracket, but ill do it probably on my next vacation.

if someone is expecting the "100% functionality and reliability" of a steering damper on a NC29, i advice not to install one. however, some might have think of "what if there was an aftermarket top mounted steering damper for NC29, and how will it looks like?"...........and so i made one.

Nope i think garys project is very good, i always like to see different things done to our nc29s. What i also like is when folks pass on how they did it and what bikes/parts were used. Understandable if they dont as alot of work and research goes into it. Cheers for the info Gary.

Chris.

Looks like I'll be able to fit Hyperpro with R1 mounting kit - not too much mod. Sorry, for picture quality...

That what I did with HypePro steering damper and R1 mounting kit. Easy job and works properly ever with screen brace.
