Has anyone successfully mounted a SAT NAV to their NC30?
I can't think of where it could fit.

Yes, I fitted mine to the screen brace. Look at the RAM site for mounting options, they have everything that you'd need.

I have a TomTom Rider v2 on my 30, I've used the RAM mounting kit (supplied with Rider) and placed it onto the left section of the screen brace. I think it works well.
Not the best photo to show it, but you get the idea...

Original tomtom rider with RAM kit. I have a ball that bolts on the LH top yoke bolt. Simples.

I tend to just put it in the bag, turn the brightness down and just use the audio instructions via headphones no chance of it getting wet either

I just slip mine in my inside pocket with headphones conected,
and you have the added bonus of having someone to talk to.

I use AA routeplanner to find my destination, then write down all the main roads i need to be on and stick them to my tank/top yoke

Especially when in Germany trying to find an alternative route around a local cycling event and no-ones German sign reading is that up to scratch
