Thats a VFR400K, It's an NC21 with a cable clutch. It's an Early 400k too, the later models were blue.
(hence it dosn't have a single-sided swingarm like an NC24)
IT also has some unique bits to it like nice high-rise handlebars (although the ones on yours arn't standard items)
Has the NC21 low-level exhaust too...
It also has the NC21 seat, the NC21 discs (non-floating) and I believe the NC21 rear caliper although dont' quote me on that bit, been a while since I've seen a kyoushujo bike.
oh and NC21/24 fork seals are the same... 37mm, make sure whomever you buy them from doesn't sell you the wrong ones (41mm are for NC30)
wemoto or davidsilvers if you want genuine honda are the best way to go.
All in all, there a nice comfy ride :D
Fork seals easy. there was a thread on here about 2 days ago of somebody doing there vfr forks.
http://www.bikersoracle.com/vfr/forum/s ... p?t=100943" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
theres a thread here on the vfr owners club forum talking about them too.
do them separatly as the bits are different. :-) and if you mix them up they won't go back together.

No problemo, theres quite a few people on here that'll be able to help you... tyre wise BT45 (130/70/80 / 100/90/16) ar ea good choice, if you can get them BT39 in the same profile are equally good. Since you have a conventional rear swingarm there are different rear wheels and other mods you can do should you wish..
...personally i'd keep it standard theres not many of those in this country.
What bars did you take off, were they the proper 400K ones? The 400K has clip-ons the same as the NC24 but there quite tall.. if you have those and want to sell them i'll deffiantly take them off your hands. (picture below)
Standard VFR400K MKI
Standard VFR400K Clip'ons.

sure just cover the postage and there yours, not sure when I can post em. Probably be in the next week or so a bit busy with work and other cr*p at the moment.
I have a couple of Question as you have some knowledge of these bikes :), do you know if they are restricted and how, it accelerates well up to around 85-90 but seems to peter out, info i've found points to the washers on the jets I think or CDI box? plus also would a single swinger off a 24 fit this?
