CBR600RR Rear fit on NC30 1993

im after a walkthrough or someone in the know to tell me what subframe and seat unit etc. will fit the NC30 for the conversion.

mainly its parts as we already have a rear plastic and seat for a CBR600RR 03 and a subframe which is apparently 03 but doesnt match up, also what rear light should be used?


anyone shed any light??

search for my thread on nc30 fireblade. I have been converting my '30 for what feels like a life time. I have used the original subframe to take the 600rr tail. pretty sure i have some early photos in there.

i've looked at your thread, coming along nicely,

the issues we have is what year parts are needed and i would really need to see the pictures of the subframe etc. to see how you did it.

from your thread it looks like you cut the NC30 subframe and welded part of the 600RR one on?

also are you using RR4 plastics and subframe?

it is all original vfr subframe no cbr subframe in required.

The tail section is from a '05 600rr if my memory serves me, i choppped the best part of 8 inches off the rear of the vfr's subframe,

i am at work at the moment ( not impressed i do not do sundays! ) i will email all of the details i have to hand.

its more for my mate really.

im doing the Ducati 916 conversion instead. like you i like to be different, i just want to keep the retro looking lights but with a more curvy appearance of modern times.
