Hey all, after fitting a new exhaust system im noticing water collecting at the outlets of the mufflers, could be condensation or coolant? If it is coolant would re-torquing the head bolts be an idea? Is this done normally after rebuilding?

Its probably just condensation that didn't leak from the same place with the old system.

It would be wise keeping an eye on the coolant temp, coolant level and oil (check for signs of water contamination)

Did you re-use the headbolts as there supposed to be replaced I believe.

I see your from Durbs, you have loads of humidity/tropical climate that way so I wouldn't go with coolant but as Neo said keep an eye on it cause you never know

Yeah high humidity in KZN so id expect some condensation,but il check oil&coolant to be sure.. Didnt replace head bolts, which makes pretty good sense now because theyd elongate over time&strain.. The bikes revving well tho, wouldnt having coolant leaks in at least one front & one back cylinder retard performance quite a bit? Think il do a compression check as well, this would show up as low pressure in cylinder its leaking right?
