Racing camshaft and QUEITENING GEARS REMOVING ?

Guy,
Have couple of questions.
1. Where possible to get racing cams? I have read Kent Performance Cams Ltd
http://www.kentcams.com/ made them before? What about now?
2. Why QUEITENING GEARS need to be remove? I understood that should be done to allow the cam timing to be spot on. But do not understand principals in details. And one more thing is not clear - if we remove secondary gear in this case we will have two neutral.
So, need explanation

Graeme, should I remove second gear in case I will fit Kent cams ?

Graeme, do you have somewhere list of parts you have in stock. Excell file is fine or similar like this. As for the camshaft - are mandatory make head poring and removed second gear to fit this ?

Less friction if you remove the camshaft quietening gears. They are not related to the gearbox.
I have them removed on my nc30 racebike, it now produces a mental sound (similar but nicer than a Ducati dry clutch type noise).
Quietening gear is the thin gear next to the main gear:

I started removing the quietening gear on my exhaust cam (already removed on my inlet by prev owner) only to find out it isn't that simple!
So i now have the gear removed but have the issue of drilling out the old locating pin to replace with a bolt.
Not a home job Parus, nothing like the link you have posted above.
Interested to know how you did the removing and replacing Revs27!
