How Many Original RVFs do we think there are left in the UK

I was sitting at work the other day and I wondered just how many RVF 400s there were likely to be in the UK.
When you think that they are only imported and how many have either been written off or crashed and had aftermarket plastics put on them.
Is there even any way to find out through the DVLA just how many were imported in the 1st place?

Don't know about the UK, but I'd say there are a thousand(s) in Australia - and maybe a third of them come fitted with aftermarket paint/bodywork. Times that by the population of the UK and that equals a mother load!? I never was good at maths though

Dont know but by the amount of bikes been broken each year the number must be dropping.

Dunno.
Bear in mind though that they're still being brought into many countries (UK included).
Off topic, but a good fact for the trainspotters amongst us: The nc30 was one of Japan's most produced bikes of all time. Most of them are probably now on foreign shores...
CBR250rr's would certainly be close to that number though I reckon! They're one of the most common roadbikes here in Oz.
