Front ends..

Post by feef »

as I mentioned the other day, I'm building up my racebike, based on a 3EN2.

I'd like to sort the suspension, as the standard setup for a rider of only 130lbs isn't really working for my 13st frame.

Rear shock isn't a problem, as I'll be sending it off to get one built, but I'd like to do something with the front end.

I've got...
1 spare 3EN2 complete front end
1 set Thundercat yokes
1 set R6 forks and yokes (not USD)

I don't have a problem with making up spacers or any other light machining, so what's the best way to get these R6 forks onto the 3EN2?

I'd have thought the R6 yokes and streeing stem will drop straight in, or you'll need the 3EN2 stem pressed into the R6 yokes (messure them first)

You'll need the 600 wheel .... which will probably mean discs too cos I think the wheel spindle is a bigger dia on the R6
