after some mucking about getting this hing to run!

the bike woul only run with choke and gradually blipping the throttle till it went high in the rev range then would die?

starts easy with the choke on but hates throttle?

with choke off it dies?

now i put fuel down the other tube it runs ok goes up to the limiter nicely! when i put fuel down this line it fills the bowels then comes out the original fuel line?

the original line is the blue one and goes to the lower t piece on the carb and the black one goes to the top t piece

should the black actually be on the tank instead of the blue one? :? :? :? :?

I cannot tell which line goes where from your description to be honest.
One of the pipes should connect directly to a nipple on the top of one of the carbs (the rest being covered by rubber caps), this is the vacume pipe and should not take fuel but is used to turn on the vacume fuel tap (should be blocked off if not connected to fuel tap)

Image

The other pipe is your fuel line and should connect to a T piece on the lower portion of your carbs.

P.S. if you have a working vacume fuel tap (standard) and do not connect the vacume line to the vacume connection on the back of it, it will not let fuel through the fuel connector, if that makes sense.

Is that correct with the vacume pipe coming from the carb top, thoght it came from the inlet manifold? The lower pipe is the fuel pipe and the top one is a breather.

Ah yes you know I forgot all about the breather pipe on the upper T piece, that just comes over the air box and hangs down not connected to anything. As far as the vacume pipe, I dont know about GK76 but on the GK73 at least this is the way it is supposed to be. This is how it shows it in the jap manual and how my bike is and runs perfectly like it

It is plastic and mine had snapped into 3 pieces and was left hanging in its clip, luckily I had all the pices and managed to cobble it all back together with threaded rod and superglue, quality bodge I say
