Can anyone confirm if the bracket that attaches the left side lower fairing should be welded to the side stand? Mine looks as if someone has done a bodge on it and welded the fairing bracket to the side stand but before I cut it off and try and sort it out can anyone confirm if this is the norm or not? The brackets on its last legs so the next question will prob be has anyone got a bracket lying around???

Both of mine were welded, and the Micro-Fiche i use shows that it is indeed atatched to the Side Stand. But I was asked if I could sell one, which i did, and the bloke who bought it said none of his were, they were simply bolted on? Its a bit of a confusing subject TBH, as i have seen another micro-Fiche for the NC30's that doesnt show the bracket at all!!

but yes indeed, the Welds do look a bit shabby. LOL

After I posted I had a quick search of ebay and all the listed side stands appear to come with the bracket attached... Looks like its time to break out the welder and try and sort the one thats on the bike as its clearly had a few bends and is hanging by the proverbial thread! If all else fails I may try and pick up a cheap side stand...
