Does anyone have a 3TJ bottom Yoke

Post by smemly »

Hi All,

Over the long weekend i picked up a new frame for my 3tj from holdup, as mine has a few dents in it. He also donated a box full of spares that he no longer required.

This is where it starts all over again

I'm not that far short of having a full rolling chassis for another 3tj hybrid. My last one started out destined to be a cheap track hack but has developed into this over the last 18months & i feel a little protective of it now.

So to get a rolling chassis together, i am in need of a bottom yoke, does anyone have one lying around that they'd be willing to part with?

I'm hoping to get a track 3tj hybrid together now using up all the spares i have knocking around the garage.

Cheers Laj, i was hoping to get only the bottom yoke, will give it a day or so to see if anyone has one, I have the top yoke, bearings and all dust seals etc...

If i don't get any response i'll drop you a PM.

Do you happen to have a top shock mount as well?

Cheers Tim, got one now. Just need to find the time to get in the garage and build up the chassis.

Need to source an engine and electrics, the question is whether i go for a thundercat lump or go the whole hog and source a fireblade engine.

However, probably a month or so away before i start this in anger. Looks like another winter in the garage.

Im on with building a 660. The foxeye is going in my road going fzr.
I would go with the tcat motor as the fireblade conversion tends to overstress the frame and can cause it to crack!
Would be awesome while it lasts tho!!
