just fitting it will gain you very little, a proper set up on the dyno will gain you possibly as much as 10BHP

Re: end can,what else?
Hi,thanks for the reply, what i mean is will the bike run ok by fitting the end can with no other modifications as i have heard some end cans can make your bike run worse without re-jetting etc,

Your not going to do any damage just put it on and go for a ride.
Have a look at the colour of the exhaust when you get home.
EG: black is rich ,white is lean. you should get a nice dark grey colour.
Good luck

Myth I'm afraid !!!
Unlike old leaded fuel Unleaded burns black.

Re: end can,what else?
unleaded dosnt burn black you need to observe the exhaust condition about 4 inches down the silencer but unfortunaly for road use this will be of no help. As soon as you bring the bike to idle it will return to the colour of the setup around idle and these bikes are very rich low down. On carburetted bikes only when they are run at wide open throttle position do you ever see a readable exhaust colour as you can guarentee that fuelling ratios will vary dramaticly between throttle positions unlike a set up fuel injected bike.
I doubt just fitting a can will make your bike burn that well that it will of made it dangerously lean so you have no worries unles you have discovered ftroubled areas in the rpm range
There is a few things you can do to your bike to up the power and make sure things are smooth but i would suggest you take it to dyno center as without setting it up on a fuel meter you are gonna struggle.

Re: end can,what else?
i just installed my bike a yoshimura race can.
now i found that there is a sort of delayed during pickup compared to when i'm using my Art endcan but the mid-end is superb. do i need to do a carburetor synchronization?
