Tail piece removal
Hi, i have a GK76A. i want to replace the tail lights. How do i remove the pillion seat. There is a lock at the bottom but it is busted. is there any other way i will be able to get in there to do the replacement?

You might have to drill through the lock, get a diamond tipped bit if you can, it'll save you a lot of time and won't razz the tool first time you use it!

You could do that, or you could use the right tool to take the lock off, but the likeliness is that the cable has broken so it's possible that this may not work.

Unbolt the lock and pull on the cable that should realease your seat.

as easy as that apart from the theft proof bolts that usually get covered in road grime and seize on the bike.

As a last resort yeah but there are several other ways of doing it before drilling.

Just take a hacksaw to the end of the cable outer, and pull the cable. KISS
