been thinking recently.... after MHP quoted me £750 for a modded RVF system with twin cans, do you think it would be possible to modify a standard system for the NC30 to fit two link pipes?
had this idea in my head of twin blueflame cans.... mmmm noisy....

so- anyone ever done this?/ know of anyone who may be able to attemp this?

The MHP link pipes won't fit an NC30 system. I wouldn't say its impossible to modify an NC30 system, but if you are willing to spend £750 why not try and get a full system. The Tyga stack is around that price iirc. I've no experience with their exhausts, but I've been happy with all of the other products of theirs I have on my bike.

see thats the thing- i dont really have £750, most i could spring would be £500 ish.. thats why i was wondering if there wasnt a cheaper route...

I would not modify a std NC30 system at all.

Try to get a Yamamoto one and mod that

I had mine done my ExhaustUK in Sheffield - took my bike down, left it a week or so...and came back to find they had made a setup but it was not right - the lower pipe was too low. SO I made them do it again!

Got it right this time and the system is buzzin.

Any decent exhaust maker should be able to do it - take them a lot of pics and your bike and explain how it works - at the end of the day it is a couple of link pipes and a couple of cabns.

Think Graeme was offering the links and cans for £450 or so - you could get them, take them and your bike to an exhaust shop and get them to chop your current system to suit..

The easiest system to convert is the Ethos as it has twin pipes coming up around the swingarm anyway and only requires two simple cranked link pipes to convert to a twin stacked setup.

They are Japanese made but not usually too hard to find in the UK...

when modding to twin cans i would run smaller diameter secondary pipes and and cans,bear it in mind if you are buying new cans.

im assuming they sound good then- they must do if youre coinsidering that sort of price lol

to be completely honest, i couldnt bring myself to spend £800 odd quid on an exhuast system... got too many other things that need paying for.
still on the hunt though, so if anyone has a system that theyd be willing to part with, i can use a wad of cash as a crowbar....
