hey people hope you can help,

my NC30 is currently running a Blue Flame Power Evo Dual port can on standard headers, its got standard everything other than my DB screen and braided lines,

basically i been looking at certain add ons and wondering if they are worth their weight such as:

Carbon Airbox

HRC CDI/ Rick olivers CDI

HRC Jets

the brake upgrade for SP2 etc callipers (will a 2004-7 Fireblade work?)

and i want a digital dash that aint to much work, ideally i wouldnt mind Analogue revs and digital speedo aint bothered bout shift lights etc as i can hear the bloody thing! i want somethin nice looking.

was thinking off the NC35 forks but as i have trade deals with K-tech and WP i thought i might as well use them,

anyone got anymore addons that are good? and the parts are easily available?

was also looking at one of those Remote starts systems, but without the alrm, i already have an Accumen 900 series already on it and cant be arsed to take it off for a crappy chinese system or equivelent. any one know where to get the remote start function on its own?

I would forget most of that, 600rr and early fireblade (nonradial) calipers can be made to fit with adapter plates.

The best thing you can do in my opinion is sort the suspension (new springs, new rear shock), gear it lower (14t front), fit sticky rubber (bt090's or dunlop alphas).

Then go ride the nuts off it.

whats the last year before the radials came in? is it the same kinda thing if i get the RVF forks on it?

i got 090's on there, lower the front to 14t is more Accel right?

would that balance the speedo error if i put the 17 back wheel of an RVF on it?


cant ride it yet as i lost my license for going a bit mental on my varadero 125 and got clocked by police at 92mph. dont ask how i went mental on it. but i proved i could make it faster.

The 14t gives much better acceleration than the standard 15t front sprocket. The best way to account for speedo error is to put an aftermarket speedo on it (even just a digital pushbike speedo!), a 17" rear won't correct the error.

600rr calipers are virtually the same as rvf calipers, so there's little point in swapping them if you're just worried about looks. The nc30 forks and brakes can be made to work as good as anything.

Suspension is where the biggest improvements can be made.
