hi there has anyone got a cdi box for sale for the gsxr 400 gk73a as mine has gone pop

They can be repaired as its usually the caps that burn out. Have a look on here or on the banditalley.net site as there was a guy who rebuilt one with pictures. If you get a new one came i get the knackered one off ya as id like to have a go at a repair.

i have repaired it but it went pop with in 2 weeks

What spec capacitors did you replace it with? What ampage rating were they as anything upwards of 10amp should be fine unless it is something else that went pop

hi it was the voltage regulators .i think thats what they are i got them out of another cdi box that was poped but i cannot find them anywhere maplins do some but i dont know what ones to get as they have not got the same numbers on them

Try Kev at Fastline in Preston. I know they've broke loads of Gixer 400 lookin at the amount of bodywork in there for them! not sure about the GK73A but worth a phone call! number is 01772902600
