Best rear tyre size?
Hi
Guess this has been done to death but finding it hard to get a simple answer on this one:
For the 18 incher on the back of my 3EN1 track bike, should I go for 150 or stick to 140 (stock)? Also should I go for 60 or 70 profile? I'm looking at a BT90 to replace the now shagged BT92 which was on it when I got it.
The front is a BT90, its a 120 by the way (should be 110 but looks like still has some life in it, so thought I'd leave it on)
Cheers

Been investigating this myself recently as back tyre is soon in need of replacement..
all answers i've received in respect of this even from race mechanic at crescent Suzuki is keep the 60 profile while going up to the 150 for width as long as chain and chain guard will allow it to fit of course,as for running 120 on the front have heard people say it's like steering through treacle with a 120 110 is so much smoother.
I have not had the experience though so just passing on what I'd heard
(Anyone know the cheapest place to get tyres Brigestone Battlaxe preferably)
