Quick question from mechanical numpty....
Got a monster flat spot at 12k.
Bike runs standard 4-2-1 (well a delk copy) downpipes, Standard RRJ airbox. Newish standard air filter & straight through race can.
EDIT: blah.. blah...blah...
I know nothing...
Cheers

Race can..... re-jetting. Sure someone will know what jet sizes to be looking at.....

running better when cold says it is too rich... so is your filter clean? what jets you got now?

Filter's clean, Will check on Jet sizes when I get some float bowl gaskets (the ones on there don't look great). Given it had individual foam filters & a slightly more restrictive exhaust when I got it ...
Any ideas on a good size to start with?
Cheers

easy way to tell if your rich or lean....see if it pulls thru the flatspot cleanly if you roll off a tad,if it does, its lean.

Get it done on a dyno so the power works right through

132.5
Rich or lean question answered. How was I living with that?
Sorted spectacularly with a suitable set of jets from Graham France.
Cheers Graham.
Dyno's on the to do list for curiosity.

132.5, bit big eh?! What size did you get from Mr F?
I recently discovered my carb had 102.5s, so I got a set of standard 105s (K model) from the man. Since I have restrictors and a straight-through can I don't really know what size I should have, but I don't want to be running lean - will get it on a dyno soonish.
Am I right in thinking can = upjetting, restrictors = downjetting?
