here's the link
http://www.k-conversions.co.uk/index.ph ... ucts_id=38" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
so how hard would it be to fit it ??

i think there are lot of forums related to this one and said a lot of horrible comments on how the quality and fittings are.
IMHO, ill go for a better conversion kits like the tyga.

Re: NC30 seat unit on a NC23 will it fit
Tyga Performance do an RC211V Seat unit which uses a Large Round Rear Light. Basically, the Unit looks very similar to the K-Conversions one, except instead of an underseat exhaust coming out the hole, the light is there. Im sure it wouldnt be too hard to modify this Tyga Unit to fit the Exhaust where the light is, and then use the K-Conversions undertray with a Tail tidy with some lights on it?
That would be pretty cool, and a good fit aswell.
The only problem i can see there is the cost of getting the exhaust made up... ££££

Just noticed you said it was for an NC23!Brendan wrote:thanks

But dont panic!! Tyga do bodywork and kits for the NC23, they just dont look as cool in my opinion. So it would still be possible to do what i have said before about fitting the tyga Unit, and modifying it to take an underseat exhaust.

I didnt say there was anything wrong....
I just think, in my honest opinion, that this:
VFR400R NC30 RC211V Seat unit:

Looks a little bit 'Cooler' than this:
CBR400RR NC23 RC211V Seat Unit:

Re: NC30 seat unit on a NC23 will it fit
Brendan, just to give you some feedback on our products (from the horse's mouth so to speak). Each product is specific to a model because although these bikes are similar in size, they are frustratingly quite different in shape and fitting points. Unfortunately, the NC30 seat cowling is not even a near fit for the NC23. The area around the tank is very different with the angles and the length of the front area not matching the tank at all. The NC30 RC211V seat cowling is much narrower too. This is because it was styled as closely on the last model RC211V seat cowling as we could and then we made a special subframe to fit accordingly. This entailed a special battery box and pushes the cost up considerably over retaining the stock subframe.
On the NC23, from our marketing results, we concluded that not everybody 'got' the RC211V styling and were interested in making their bike look like more familiar modern sports bikes. CBR400RR owners are more cost conscious tha their V4 counterparts and many owners of 400s wanted passenger carrying ability. For this reason we opted to keep the stock subframe of the NC23 which enabled us to keep costs down, carry passengers and we styled it with inspiration from the RC211V but also loosely on modern CBRs. From our sales success with the MC22 (our best selling kit) we figured this is the way to go. We do appreciate that not everybody wants the same styling, and variety is what keeps us in business. It would not be impossible to fabricate using the stock subframe off the NC23 and our NC30 subframe something which could take the NC30 seat cowling. You'd need to heavily modify the seat pad area and the front section where it meets the tank. Then, assuming you had found a new home for all the electrics in the way, you could get a special one off underseat exhaust made. Remember, the swing arm will cause major clearance issues and you need to keep the dimensions correct for power. Personally, I'd like to see it done, commercially, it is a no starter because it would cost more than the bike to achieve.
Finally, you might want to look at pcitures on our site of the NC23 seat cowling once fitted to the bike with the seat cover in place. It looks a lot more agressive and appealing (I am biased of course) than sitting on a sheet off the bike.
If you have any questions about our products, I will be glad to answer them.
