some advice please

Post by steve92 »

Hi got my nc 30 on the road it has 2500kms on it with documents to prove.
It runs spot on until it heats up then it hesitates most of the time up until 5000 revs.
Not sure when the plugs were changed but oil and filter is clean.
I am guessing it needs the carbs cleaned and set up,is there any quick solution, prity sure theres not.
Can anyone recommend a london bike shop or outside london where i could leave it in and have it set up properly with people that know what they're doing, and what its likely to cost.
Thanks Steve

Crikey what year is that? Was it an old lady rider? Only quick fix i can think is if the choke slide is sticking in the open position riching out the mixture, you can see if this is the case by shining a torch under the tank, look for a linkage on the left side which moves when you operate the choke, you can then see if its sticking
