Geez dude 4months thats crazy, no spark is gona be defective cdi, defective pulse generator coils, dud battery, super fouled plugs, defective spark coils or damaged HT leads or a break in the ignition wiring circuit.. Each of these can be checked yourself except for the cdi, but since its replaced id check the rest with a multimeter for resistance of the various coils and for continuity for a break in the starter circuit.. PM me if you want a wiring diagram.. Seriously work on the boney yourself, some mechanics are just crap

I don't think Honda will work on a grey bike as you said.

There no more difficult to work on than any other bike. However due to the compactness of the V4 getting parts in / out can be quite tricky and annoying so best to check anything your unsure of on here before you brute force things!

I think Gringo said it all really.

Couple of pointers.

Check the kill switch, make sure it isn't sticking on when you turn it off as this will kill your spark.

Since you said it wouldn't start off the button I think it might be electrical, ie duff battery / charger system.

Everything can be checked with relative ease using a standard multimeter, you can test the coils, altenator, reg/rec and battery.

I'd give it a go yourself or see if you can find another mechanic to help

Boet your only option is to take the fairings off and do some simple wire continuity checks with a cheap r100 multimeter which can read resistance and continuity.. The problems more than likely a faulty connection round your killswitch.. Il send you a wiring diagram but just all the terminals are connected properly first.. Colin
