Ok, within the next month or two, my beautiful NC30 will be going up for sale (it will first be advertised on here and other forums, if no luck, then ebay will get its chance)
I was simply wondering what you guys think its worth, as i really aren't sure. The only reason for sale, is there are 3 bikes in the garage at the moment, and im looking to purchase a triumph 675 :peace: Here are the details of the bikes history, parts, and work completed.
Its a 1989 Import with 49,500km's on the clock
It came to the UK in 1995, and have all the MOT's from that date to prove mileage is genuine.
Prior to me it had a woman rider for 5 years.
It will have 1 years MOT, and 1 years TAX
It has the genuine Honda panels, in original colours
Brand new EBC pro lite discs, with new Honda pads, reconditioned callipers, including seals, polished pistons, brake fluid and goodridge brake lines.
Newly powder coated front wheel.
Smoked Screen
Carbon yoke cover
Carbon Fuel cover
Carbon tank pad
Anodised brake reservoir cover
Anodised front reservoir holder
Polished heel plates
Aluminium radiator grill
Oil and filter changed 3 miles ago
Recent air filter
Recent spark plugs
New BT090 rear tyre
Smaller (legal) Number plate
Kph-mph speedo converter
Harris grips
Smaller mirrors
Exhaust collars just been repaired to a very high standard
Nearly new chain and sprockets
Engine starts on the button, and is 100% spot on.
The bike is in VGC, with only a few stone chips to the nose cone, and a few odd marks here and there as you would expect from a 20 year old piece of superbike history.

This isn't an advertisment, i would just like to get an idea to how much you guys think its worth.
Here is a picture.

Thank you for taking to time to give an estimate

Hiya mate. I am relatively new to owning an NC30 but i have been looking fone for about 2-3months so ive seen a few recently!! Please dont quote me, and im sure other are more experienced!! i reckon its had a recent paint job very well done i might add!! it looks very good all round. To give you some idea i bought mine last week, it was advertised for 1500 but due to a few bits that needed doing i eventually got it for 1100. I dont think mine is as tidy as your and by the sounds of it yours has had all the bits that mine needs!! After seeing about 10 bikes in the last few weeks i have realised its abit of amine field with regards to price!! Yours is in the best colour iut looks very clean and is obviously well looked after. so as an estimate i would say between 1500-1700 you may get even more upto 2000 if someone wants it bad enough on Ebay. Like i said the market is a bit odd when it comes to these bikes. you see them going for about 500 to 3000 grand!! im sure someone has a better idea, its just my thoughts!! it is nice i wish i had waited and bought yours!!

Regards
Kris

thank you for your comments Kris. These bikes are such a pain to put a price ticket on, im not sure what to advertise it at
the bikes totally in bits at the moment, im flushing the coolant system, and in the middle of putting the exhaust system on with new gaskets.
I do love nc30's tho, wish i had a massive garage to keep all the bikes in and store this one
thanks
alex

my personal view! keep it in bits and keep it!! the price is going to go up and up, you just cant seem to get a good one, and when you find one they want big money!!

That does look lovely! 8-)
In my opinion, that's worth £1500 on most days, but as you well know it's difficult to say what it's really worth! As the saying goes: "it's only worth what someone's willing to pay"!
What's the other 2 bikes in garage? Perhaps sell one of those instead? :?:

get rid of the anodised tat and make the bike look more original (grips & mirrors) and I recon u could get £1700 for it on a good day £1500 for sure

Would also consider doing the valve clearances for a 50k old motor. It would look great as part of the sale package.

Visuals might get someone to look at it but the details are pretty thin - carbon effect and anodised stuff would put me off a bike straight away.
It is a nice bike though and I reckon with the right ad, the right wording and some good pics you'll get the £1500 for it.

the only reason the anodised and carbon gear is on there is because the OEM parts were either knackered or to costly to replace. :sshh:
regarding the valve clearances and shim replacement etc, it really wouldn't be neccessary, it just doesnt need doing. It idles perfectly at 1500 and rev's freely all the way to 14500.
again, thanks for your estimates, i'd be happy to collect £1500 big ones :peace:

oh, and as u may be able to see, i picked up a full fairing bolt kit for it in stainless, with zeus fasteners and now a stainless screen kit to match. for £20 it really does look much better.
