Yup, for a quick track day fix they could could be temporarily taped in place or fixed using the existing fixing screws and some simple brackets.RVFHooligan wrote:Carlos, those look good, do they slide/pop in from the back?

Re: Another RVF thread!
Got the wheels back from the powdercoater. Notice anything wrong? Here's a hint. Before I dropped them off I took a black Sharpie pen and put "X"s on the surfaces I did NOT want powdercoated. The owner looks at them and says "Now I wouldn't be in business as long as I have if I didn't know where NOT to powdercoat."
So, sure enough they powdercoat over the surface on the rear wheel for the wheel nut. Now I have to sand it down myself, very carefully.
Aside from that they did a good job. Loads of parts on the way to my house as we speak from several different sources. Should have everything I need by the weekend to begin to assemble the bike. Pictures later....................

I'll try that first, if that doesn't work I'll try some 3M grinding discs or DA sander, carefully.yayoboy wrote:lookin good jeff! what i found helped with removing xs powder was my dremel (mini rotary tool) with a small flap wheel attached, got it off in no time :D

Yeah me too! They should be done soon but then it's a 4.5 hour car ride each way to go get them in Miami and I don't know when I'll have the time.hannakournikova wrote:any updates yes man?
