Yup as they would be made to order they couldnt supply us with one wheel to test. They did offer a front wheel as they already have them but I was more worried of the fit rather than the quality if you know what I mean

mmm, well in that case I would def walk away.

Leave it with them to mull over, if they were confident on quality they would guarantee them 100%. Never give the benefit of the doubt to anyone like that!

You would imagine they would want the business.

I think to get anywhere seriously with this it would have to wait untill tyre manufacturers stop producing 18inch rubber and the price of 2nd hand RVF wheels go through the roof, only then will people front the cash and not back out at the last minute.

The price of these wheels while still being a bloody good deal considering it was a new batch just isnt enough of a saving over buying a 2nd hand 35 rear to get a large amount of people confirmed, give it a couple of years and people will be snapping your hand off at that price and the greater number of orders would hopefully make the manufacturer consider returns for any ropey quality.

Give it a couple of years and the price will have doubled.

What on RVF wheels or these aftermarket ones?

The aftermarket ones. The supplier will see the increased demand and price on OEM ones and their price will also increase.

Argh! I came onto 400GB specifically to find an RVF400 rear wheel. Based on the 10 page thread with little outcome, I think I just might be looking for a needle in a hay-stack. Yes? No?

Anybody know of good aftermarket rear wheels out there. Dymag doesn't seem to be selling anymore for the NCs. I would be interested in PVM, Marchesini, Marvic, OZ, or any of the other good wheels, if they still make them.

Cheers,

They turn up once in a while on eBay. Trouble is that a lot of breakers out there list parts at stupid prices because the bikes are 'rare'. Like £250 for a set of carbs, £150 for a scabby top rad, that sort of bollocks. Wheels seem to fit the same criteria too. :-(
