Not looking too bad on this forecast:

http://www.accuweather.com/world-foreca ... U&metric=1

Although forecasts for that area are notoriously unreliable and it can be dry on on side of the track and torrential rain on the other.

The ride down does look like it could get a bit moist though.

and we all know how slippy that place is when wet dont we. went round in the focus the other week while like you say wet on one side, dry on the other, and it was lethal in a car. it was as if someone had spilled diesel. nasty.

I once rode a wet lap on the FZR400, against Bren's advice. I'd never do it again, it's like trying to ride on an ice rink - two wheel slides on corners and wheelspin everywhere, even with the bike bolt upright. All this was happening even though I was riding so slowly it took me 17 minutes to get round. Total waste of the price of a lap and also cost me the price of a new set of underpants.

If it rains I'll park myself somewhere and watch all the car crashes.

Righty then... I'm off work tomorrow and am going to pack all my shizzle.

I will be bringing a 150 piece halfrauds kit and various NC related specific sockets etc. TC has the electrical skills and is bringing some of that kit.
does anyone have a need for anythng else? Ask and if I have it in the garage I will bring it along. got more zip ties than you cna shake a stick at and will bring some gaffa tape too.... Not bringing my wets although I am tempted by a ring lap int he wet the report by Phil has shot that one down...

Not use my bike for a week so will charge the battery, bring a spare one and also a spare reg rec...just in case.

I neve rmanaged a euro plate as my money has disappeared and I am going ot be living off rye bread and whatever the cheapest stubbies I find in Carrefour on the way out :D

if the sun comes out shall we go and have a go kart race in Kerpen @ Mr Schumacher's track? Always fancied it and if it is reasonable dollar it would be very funny..
lots and lots of work to do so I will get on and do it...rather than read the forum for another 10 mins..

I will be drinking at Sliders in less than 48 hrs time....wicked.

You two take it easy whilst we're there then, both on and off the track. You don't want to come back suffering from 'Ring Fatigue'
