Hey just laid here thinking and trying to save money! Is it ok to use halfords pink anti freeze and coolant instead of the local yamaha stuff? Same price but you get 5 litres for the price of one?
Thanks

Yes - anti freeze is pretty much the same everywhere now cars have alloy blocks.

Hello again from Spain, what is the general feeling about removing the plugs? Guy got it from just said remove airbox and use a plug spanner?

I have standard socket sets and wonder if other people do it this way? If so do I have to buy anything?
Thanks back to the cocktail

Would it help if I got a bendy socket extension to get at them from the top?

personal preference really

I've done it both ways and prefer to take the panels off, drop the rad down a bit, and go in from the front, you can see what your doing better as the engine leans forwards, if you go in from the top (i found) it's all to easy to cross thread em, whichever way you do em make sure you hoover out the void between the cams (where the plugs live) or all the shit will drop in the pots, not good
if you do them when you do your annual service you'll have the panels off anyway to do the coolant and oil filter so makes sense to do it all at once

Can anyone tell me how to remove the speedo ? The last chap that had it derestricted it by taking it apart and turning around the restrictor plate so the speedo needla could pass the top speed restriction pin? I am just wondering if the zero speed connection also so the cdi is not being primed at startup. I want to set this and have the cdi derestricted instead! Does this make any sense to anyone?

Just come back from holiday and find some carbs have not turned up which I am trying to track down but while I am doing that has anyone else got a standard complete set they want to part with. I have my bike booked into dyno tuner on 8 oct to look at but they would like it with standard to start with.

Thanks
