ok day 3 and its in even more little bits

carbs are off (restrictors out) and im gona rebuild them doing the HRC drill slides mod and give them a clean up

new rearsets are almost fitted although had a couple of problems with the gear lever side, the con-rod is too long so need a new one made up, could possible do with a spacer made up so to space the hangers from the swinger a bit and when i mounted the bit on the gear selector there was clearance prblems with the thing infront of it (water pipe goes into it) so couldnt have it in race pattern setup, all will be sorted tho.

got the HRC style res and braided line on the master cylinder and on the HRC sets and wa about to drill the swinger and I had a look at the original line and its different from the braided one I got off a forum member on here (not saying who), so after a panic i called Rick O who saved the day with a banjo bolt and said it should fit aslong as you take the in-line adapter out of the caliper, so as soon as that arrives il be drilling the swinger and fitting all that lot

yeh the pannels are back from the painters and i thik they rock, just need a set of 11 to complete the look but im happy with it for the moment

the bikes finished and it took alot longer than anticipated, lots of problems help me up, the worst was trying to fit the carbs which took me th ebest part of 2 days to do in the end, think my rubbers are past it but im pleased i did it all int he end

here she is:

iv fitted everything i had piliing up in my room which included, NSR 250 quick action throttle with single nsr cable, HRC rearsets, braided line through swinger (out the bottom to make it ultra sly) with switch, foam filled swinger, new fluid in brake systems, last of the samco hoses which was hard to get to without the carbs off, extra shim in the carb slides, restrictors out, rebuilt and cleaned carbs referbed the hub and generally give the bike a good post winter clean up

hope you like it!

i go it off here and i think its a pyramid plactic's one even though its fibreglass there was one on ebay recently if i recall

yeh i like the back too, think it looks very ducati'ish to me, if i wasnt spending all my money on racing id get the pillion seat recovered the same so it dosnt look out of place when its on there
