Thanks for the info Variable. The 400 Bandit was made for a long time so I guess this will not be easy.

Yes, just moisten them enough to give a glossy finish. Silicone grease is fine.

Here we see
http://www.suzukicycles.org/Bandit-seri ... ndit.shtml
1989 K
1990 L
1991 M
1995 S
1997 V

But here they show
http://www.megazip.ru/zapchasti-dlya-mo ... f400-13974
GSF400M(E2) M 1991
GSF400M(E28) M 1991
GSF400N(E2) N 1992
GSF400N(E28) N 1992
GSF400P(E2) P 1993
GSF400P(E28) P 1993
GSF400VV(E30) V 1997

The parts book I have shows M, N & P models.

Any ideas?

@IknBandir400
Can you confirm that your Frame serial number begins with GSF400N ?

The year code on your B4's frame sticker is located at the 10th digit. In the U.S. you should only fine "M" for 1991, "N" for 1992 or "P" for 1993 because Suzuki only imported B4s to the U.S. for three years.

It does not. It's just a series of alphanumerics.

Early in the number there should be "GK75" which means GSF 400. Google search something like "Suzuki VIN number decode" and you'll find that helpful people have it all spelled out and explained.

Thanks for the tip. If you haven't found this site, it's pretty neat:

http://vindecoder.eu/suzuki

I plugged my VIN in and it tells you the breakdown of exactly what the VIN means, with all of its sub-segments.

Here's what mine spit out (I hid the last 6 sequential numbers unique to each bike for security).
