right...so, I've been asking another guy (whose idea this is/was) to create us some parts and so on..

Are we now saying, sod that, let's use Bike_nut?

B_N and I have had a PM or 2 - we did agree not to be so hasty..did we not? :?

So - before I am made to look more of a twat than I wish to be - am I pursuiing this with Felix as per the original crack, or am I going to go and tell him that I am wasting his time as we are just going to steal his idea and go another way with it??

So..what is the crack? ETA is 2 weeks - we'll have CNC pics before anything machined.

Socket dia - 46 or 55mm - can be 6 sided or bi hex.

Price is not set in stone but should be less than £100 all in including getting a bi hex socket if you need one. So, less than 75 without?? We'll see.

Mark - There was/ is no rush, it's just some of the other ideas did seem to have valid points. :?
The 46mm socket idea - I liked that, no real need to over complicate things.
It does seem a little harsh to steal the idea, I'm guessing the cutting of the thread is the issue as so far he's the only one who's said he could do that, is he not?
Others (Bike_Nut) have mentioned the CNC nut but not the thread creation in the axle?!

I think it could be a good seller if there was a little production line of thread cutting and nut manufactuererering

I reckon I did Bike_Nut a disservice and took it the wrong way. -= Sorry for that Shane.

We'll get this rolling and sorted
