Mine were, I used some small pin nose pliers and gently pulled the old ones out. You can pull the rubber holders back a little aswell to help.

Right, received the new bulbs today, and they fit both bikes side lights perfectly. i have now tried the instrument panel bulbs with the remaining 3 wedge ones i bought and they fit (just) and light up!! i will wait till night time and take some pics. the temp bulb and the rev counter, speedo are slightly different sizes. so the pic you will see will be the temp, and rev counter on led and the speedo on the normal bulb!!

finally!!

my only worry is they are too bright and end up distracting at night,i've turned the dash lights down on my car at night and it's far easier to drive than with then fully lit up.
couple that with the white speedo/temp/tacho dails Mr Fen is selling and it'll be like your driving down the road with a disco in front of you.....
but hopefully not ....

Right i am now going to download the led pics. Warning please wear sunglasses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As you probably guessed they are shite!! they do shine through but give off very low light kind of a cloudy look!!
