can you still start the bike by bumping it?
if so - when the engine does fire up does it run ok?

okay i opened up the starter clutch.... removed 2 of the plungers... and they had partly broken springs, and i couldn't remove the third plunger as it is jammed in.... could this be the problem?

It is a good sign. Let's hope....

I think you have found the cause of your problem. Suggest you check the replacement clutch before you fit it to be sure it is serviceable.

I should have been more specific in my last post, disassemble the starter clutch to check it.

I can assure you that the replacement im sending is 100% servicable.

Personaly - its yours now but i would not strip it, id fit it to the bike and try it first.
Dont run the risk of cocking up the part before you've tried it.

No slight on anyone intended mo haggs, just do not want to go around this loop again with xivlia.

i dont want to disassemble the starter clutch i am getting from mo haggs. incase i do something wrong and brake it by an accident. if however the problem still persists. then i will disassemble that and look at it. but i really hope my current starter clutch is broken, so i dont have to go about still trying to find the problem.

No offence was taken, its just are pal here has a bad habit for going wayward.
The starter clutch he removed has been declared damaged, the one im sending came of a bike with No problems so why take it appart.

Its like the starter motor, the original one worked when tested but he bought a replacement regardless.
The problem persisted so it obviously was not the starter to begin with, but he took it apart anyway.

its basic fault finding not rocket science, old one is clealy fucked - replacement is known to work 100 % = so fit the part and dont fuck with it.

Ersan, fit the part and try it. Otherwise you will spend three times the money of sending it to a mechanic, you will have 2-3 of every part if you fuck about chasing ghosts, and half the parts will end up usless when bits get damaged or lost because they have been dismantled.
Plus the fact your bike will be off the road for longer.

Magg im not having a go, the guy needs help in the form of Clear and Simple advice.
People are coming in thick and fast from all directions with some far fetched answers and the fella has not a clue who to listen to.
Listen to the symptoms then eliminate the basics, then you can start clutching at straws like hydraulic lock.

Fit the one im sending, if the problem persists the prob is not the starter clutch.
