excuse my ignorance  but is the grey/black a stock scheme?
ignorance excused my friend, the grey/black is a stock scheme but i left the triangle off the seat as i didn't think it would look right with the RVF number board. i added the HRC stickers after it was painted as i wasn't sure if that would work either.

plus i asked for the grey to be a little darker than the panel i left down and from the bikes in the pictures as i thought it would sit really nicely with the black frame/swinger etc.

i'm glad you guys are feeling the love for this, before it went for paint i was getting mixed feelings from people .... :blah: :blah:

royster81 wrote:i saw it for sale and i saw you had the bodywork for sale too, i friggin love that red/black scheme but didn't have the funds to buy it,silly you for selling up but i'm sure you had your reasons.
is the nc23 not a good bike ?
Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Had to sell it as I lost my job. Little did I know that two days after it went (to geoff off the forum - not to break luckily (for the wife)), I landed myself a new job. I'll be looking for either the same r+b scheme or a r/w/b.

The NC23 is a good bike, very similar to the NC30, but it just doesn't have the presence the 30 has. Plus I miss the V4 groan. The VFR just felt special to ride and to look at for me (I'm sure you understand). IL4's aren't for me. Got a Bandit 400 sitting round the side that needs to go as well, so once that and the CBR have gone, V4 here I come!!

gutted for you fella, at least your still in a job now and have the chance to buy another one.
i'm not overly surprised to hear a V4 rider saying he doesn't like his new IL4,i don't know how many times i've read that on here over the years but i still have a real strong feeling for a CBR400, i blame justmartyn ! (hope you read this fella)
but i'll not sell any of mine for one, maybe swap one ;)
