Tony, what is it exactly that you need for your WR rearsets?
Its been so long now i cant remember, there packed away in the loft somewhere but i definatly need a peg maybe both of them.

Tony, if you find some pegs that will look good but aren't shouldered like we both need I can ask about having some spacers made up, I can have them shouldered too if the bolt for the peg is smaller than what is already on the rearset

Here's the rearsets, as you can see I haven't finished putting together the brake side, the lever is slightly bent, I need to heat and straighten it out, then need the new countersunk screw for the toe peg.
Since taking that pic I've fiddled around and set the lever height, now spot on for me

Don't use heat it will weaken the metal, it needs to be done cold with a decent hammer in the opposite direction than the force(crash) that caused it to bend if you get what I mean.

Tony, I know of a used good solid, not bend, original left peg for the WR rear set, at some breakers about an hour from me. If this is what you may need, then let me know sometime

Nice one Jas, I'm sure when Tony sees this you'll get a thumbs up from him
That's the coils cleaned off, just a bit of WD40 and a rag to get the grot off, then pulled the little metal clips that go over the bolt hole off and cleaned under there to avoid any earthing issues upon the rebuild. The leads are still a tiny bit scruffy, but are at least MOSTLY red now!
While I had it off I though I'd make a start on the rear brake caliper, it was COVERED in shitty horrible gunk from 20 years of chain lube and road crap, add to that the mounting bracket which should slide was pretty seized, so WAY past due for a good scrub.
My next door neighbour works on one of the USAF bases and gets first refusal on things going to the rubbish tip. He brought me back a 5L can of stuff called Arma-Clean, it's used on electrical equipment and I tell you what, it's fantastic, it's brought most of the caliper up perfectly clean in one application.
I've ordered the bolts for the RC30 link arm, I now need to make a rose jointed dogbone link and have some spacers machined up as they're now NLA

After that it's just got to be fitted, which I'll get step by step pics for :)

I have a set of rc30 torque arms heading my way at the minute if you need any sizes etc for comparison?

Cheers bud, Rick said it was the same length as the stock NC30 one (that doesn't have spherical bearings) so I should be able to use that as a guide, it's just finding a backwards tap and deciding what sort of bar to use (M6/M8 etc)
I have the dimensions for the 4 NLA collars, so will be having a set made if you need any?
