so mr fen,

say i have KPH clocks with an overlay on the glass. will these clocks read mph true to its equivilant in mph, so for example i would only need to pop these in then not have to worry about getting an mph converter?

just asking as they look in the identical positions to my glass overlay sticker which is quite tacky...

i may sound really stupid here but cant help asking if i want some eh? ;)

Hi Danzio,
With these you can rip off the overlay sticker, the MPH/KPH markings are correct on the face plate. You don't need to get a MPH converter as the speedo is still spinning at the same speed, you just have MPH marked on the face as well as the KPH bit. Your trip counter bit will still count up in kilometres as will the odometer bit.

if you get a mph converter it will adjust the gearing of the speedo cable so that the trip counter and odometer start reading in mph, and the normal kph marks will actually be mph. If you get one of these it will be difficult to accurately record the mileage (kilometre-age?) of your bike as the calculations will be out.

Can you measure the dials for me?

the speedo and rev counter are 73-74mm across, the temp gauge is 47mm across.
the little bumps on the sides are 2-3mm tall, when installing they match up to spaces on the case but don't actually touch the sides, not sure if they would prevent installation into different cases.
