VFR + RVF paint codes

Hi guys just looked at the info on this post I am trying to confirm my nc30 colours 1989 silver black and red original paint scheme. I know the wheels are Ross White nh-196 just need to confirm the other colours.

I've read through this thread and am a bit confused, my colour scheme is NH196

Yet the white is also listed as NH196, if I go to one of these paint suppliers bwill they recognise it?

Is there a close, good enough match, I only need a very small bit to cover a repair to the seat cowl.

The white is commonly known as Honda Ross White and the red is known as Fighting Red. They're both very commonly used colours throughout the Honda range, so I would imagine most half decent paint suppliers should be able to sort you out.

Indeed, please ignore my earlier post above, went on the RS Bike Paint website and found the colour scheme for my bike and ordered the white and red and clear lacquer aerosols, not cheap !!!! £55.80 I am beginning to wonder about how much of a money pit this "cheap" bike is turning out to be

I have just looked at RSpaints website and noticed that they do not list UK1990 NC colours,
But do list 1991-92RL111 imports,now the colours they list for this model are,
ROSS WHITE.
FIGHTING RED.
DARK BLUE.
WISTERIA BLUE.

Now if you were painting the 1990 uk model the red. and the blues. are correct,the white should be crystal white NH-193P and not NH-196.

Are you sure, all the UK NK30s I have seen [and mine] are Ross white, not pearlescent.
I thought the panels were interchangable [Jap/UK] colour wise.
[Back of seat unit and underneath front fairing is different structure.]

I bought some touch-up paint in 1991 for my uk nc30,
I ordered it from the honda dealer i bought the bike from,who is also a friend of my,
I still have the paint now,fighting red 2046399 R1340F.and crystal white 2621084 NH-193P.

That looks like black and purple to me.
