I did not initially pick up on this reply,but after remembering a well respected member on here telling the tale of the American customer who complained there were no fitting instructions enclosed for a dogbone set and also being in conversation today,on a US forum,with an established member who stated his drive chain had no instructions for fitment ; I wholeheartedly concur.
He could not grasp that fitting a spring link was easier in the 2 0'clock position on the rear sprocket as opposed to holding a chain together with it hanging free.
