rvf400/nc35 power problems(electrical issue?)

Piston rings sound like they are gone if all the compressions came back a good 40 psi higher!

Did you notice you were burning oil, or blowing smoke?

Aye, going to be rings as Ameachizzle says.
Does your crankcase vent have a lot of vapour into the airbox?

I did notice it a bit harsh with the oil but never noticed it smokey at all

so it looks like its safe to say that the problem is diagnosed as piston rings then so !!
