Fitted, not sure if i should past this as a how to for a separate topic for search purposes?

spent an hour in the workshop, and feel pretty happy with its set up. here are pics and measurements to achieve full lock left to right.

i didnt do a reverse mount as i would need more brackets and run the risk of catching the clocks

i used an m8 rose joint from guy on ebay £4.50

i added a nylon shim which measures 16mm ext dia, m8/8mm dia internal dia, and 10mm in height

next the stanchion bracket, the bolts supplied, to be frank are SHITE, when fitted there is about 5mm of thread being used in the bracket, and with the bracket being alloy i didnt want to run the risk of ripping the threads out, so i added some bigger steel ones at thats all i had in M4, and copper greased them

Hm...
I don't like the way you have mounted the damper.
That long piston just in front of your knee......hopefully you do not run info anything, but if you do you could damage your knee a lot. :pray:
It shoud be mounted the other way like this:

They are much better protected in case of a crash.

well the verdict,

ive used it for the first time today on lightest setting 1,

i took it to setting 3 on M1 but wasnt sure, its a very alien experiance, the front end it so much more tight, and the responce is sharp, what i mean you tend to steer the bike with your feet and lean more than the handles when fitted and its very notchy. and at low speed its strange but great for filtering as you seem more stable,

feel more stabble in the corners and heavy leans. very good when you give it big gas, i was doing quite a bit and the bumps in the road barely moved the front end.

with time this will grow on my, i just need to re position it as im fearfull since Lange put the frighteners up me.

but definatly worth the money.

just take my advice on changing the supplied allen nuts and fixings other wise youll be £40 down ;)

ok spent a few hours in the 'shop and came up with this solution ;)

again full lock to lock with 5mm to spare either end.

Hi there mate, im looking into getting this setup off ebay and have it mounted like you have there in the pics as i like my knees and intend to have use of them for many more years lol, i was just wondering what the measurements are either side of the rose joint so i get lock to lock correctly and how far down on the forks is the clamp mounted so it clears the speedo clocks, and are you using all the original parts from your first guide? thanks for your help in advance.
