where is the thermistat located on this bike? does it take its temp from the rad? would i get a none reading if the coolent system wasnt filled enough if thats the case??

also, how long does it take to read a temp if im only ideling the bike? coz thats what im doing>? cherrs

It's all located on the right hand side, just behind the top radiator.

I think you'd get a reading if you had a air bubble in there, but doubt it if the rads aren't topped up.

Takes a while for my gauge to reach 70 when just idling, maybe 5-10 minutes.

Thermostat is part of the thermostat housing on the right side of the engine. Temp guage will only go up as the bike heats, there's not particular time period it'll take. It takes as long as it takes.

cherrs for the comments lads, still havnt got round to ordering an o ring from rick to check the blades are spinning, im on the bones of my ass at the mo and cant really even afford the o ring! lol bad times

got rejected for the 2 diff benifits i tryed claiming for, the first was because im not up to scratch with my NI contributions!! go figure, who is!? lol

and the other, income base support, if your parnter is earning over £111 a week then your not intiled to that either!! she is on basic maternity with a 7 week old kid at a rate of £127 ish. fking joke!!

iv been advised to start claiming job seekers now by the jobcenter team!! lol im not fking seeking work! iv got work, just cant do it!

systems to shit and useless , had no income for nearly 7 weeks in total now, as i was quiet 2-3 weeks before the accident....

least housing benift has told me they can pay 600 of my 650 rent a month, back dated to the accident ....
but have no income what so ever coming in right now.....

been digging around looking for stuff to sell lol hate selling stuff but needs must.

yay!!!

finally disputed my employment support rejection, and won. got 6 weeks of payed back dated, not much, but enough to buy a fking pump oring lol and buy some bloody shopping.

saw physio today thinking i was well on the way to mend, 1 more month she has said i need off! fking hell, 12 weeks in all. note to ones self, BUY A FKING ROOF RACK TUBE in future!!! dont make one.
