i usually back off when i see 100 on the dial, there's no point going anymore on the roads, there's no great sence of acceleration at that speed, far rather brake late or get a corner flat and accelerate out than sit there head on the tank and see my mates go past (most are on 600+ bikes)

I managed between 13-13.5k in top gear with standard gearing, but it was on a long downhill straight... i dont make a habit of it but youve gotta do it once so you know its limits right :mrgreen:
