I`ve asked my machinist to make me 3 sets of 20/25mm spacers in case anyone else needs them. I`ll post on here when I have them to hand, price will be the same as the NC30/35 ones on my stocklist.

Threads like this are what this place should be about. Committed, clever and wonderful individuals coming together to work and bring benefits and education to all.

Chapeau!

I'm so out of the game these days that it makes me unhappy! I'm going to get my Yam sold on and spend some time and money on the No9.

The idea of some lovely forks would be great, but perhaps only for the bling - unless someone is going to comfirm how much more superior these cartridge forks are than fettled NC30 cartridge forks?

Is it the physical properties - stiffness, weight (assuming it is more to be fair overall, but with less unsprung if you use a trumpet wheel etc?) and also 25 year newer tech?

Good work guys, you rule.

Get on it mark no.9 deserves some love

The trumpet forks are near as damit the same weight as rvf forks so no weight advantage to be had, im no expert but internally the trumpet forks look lightyears ahead of the nc forks so I guess to someone thats good enough to tell the difference there better forks. There also new enough to still be supported by the likes of ktech etc for fancy internals if your feeling flush
