Whilst I searching for info on headlight bulbs I found a link from 2011 to a dude in Canada who repairs cdi's. I mailed him this morning and he replied straight back saying he still does it and it's abt $120 / £75 to repair Inc postage with no charge if he can't sort it so watch this space

Yeah that's the fella. Definitely looking good value compared to £100 and you know they're tested and working. I've 2 to send so I'll do that on payday and then I can get them back into circulation for others who need them.
