My NC30 - always things to do

What a quality chap; Graham sent me my new exhaust to play with. NC30 indicators will also be delivered tomorrow....the bike could actually come together at the weekend.

can you do me a favour and tell me who it is you get your exhaust stuff from,i need a can strap and a can and you seem to get qaulity stuff so thought i might give your guy a go

Graham's Mercury Exhausts Rhory. Not sure how much time he's got on his hands these days, but worth getting in touch if you want some quality items. On a par with the other makes of exhausts I've had, TSR perfection aside. I bought a second set of can hanger/straps from a monkey bike shop off Ebay (only place I could find that did quality 90mm items). Graham's laser cut stainless items are nice, but not in keeping with the rest of the bike.

My resleeved cans arrived back in the week and certainly look a bit better - now finished in seamless twill weave carbon. Their size and angle mimic the carbon frame guards quite nicely.

I've sent him an email at the moment Rhory, hopefully he'll be able to help.

Changing the TSR was no way an easy decision. If only if fit a little better around my sidestand (which I'd spaced out to try and keep it from the pipes), I'd never have parted with it. Still, the new system has its charms.....and that noise....

And thanks.....yep, I had contemplated selling the bike - the idea comes up every 6 months or so when I forget it's in the garage. Sad I know, but I don't have as much free time to continue with the '30. Trying to find a cutoff period where I'm happy with it and it can be MOT'd - but as the roads are under 4 feet of salt (or might as well be), that won't be for a couple of months yet. Gotta resist the temptation to carry on until then, riding the bike again will surely take my mind off it.

It didn't take much to come to the decision to not sell it. I wheeled it out the garage one sunny Saturday a couple of months back, after only seeing a big blue cover at the back of the garage for the weeks before. No way could I part from it after having a closer look at what I'd done over the years. It may not be perfect, but it's as close as I can get.

I'm from Sussex Spike, so if you ever venture to Newlands, Alton, Boxhill or Bury, you may bump into it someday. Unless I'm selling something through the forum, and like a couple of customers already have - have had to pick the item up in question rather than have it posted.

i usually go to alton every wednesday night, whent he weather gets good pm me when you coming and il keep and eye out, I think we should have a 400gb southerners ride out as there's loads of members down south, make sure the bikes going for then
