Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Re: Favourite Non-Honda Bikes?
I have three Ducatis as well as an NC30. I love my '93 Mark II Superlight (serial number #001. yes, true). But, the 2005 999s is just a piece of lithe wonderous red magic. Lots of people don't like em. I don't care. Just try riding a 999s Ducati with sorted Ohlins suspension and BST carbon fibre wheels. Sluurrrp.

Im very jealous of your 999s StrayAlien, the termis sounds absolutely fantastic on those. I think there a pretty little bike, although most wouldn't agree.

Well the great thing about those is that QB Carbon makes a Desmosedici front fairing for the bike to change the styling. I do say it makes it look sweetDaveLiverpool wrote:Im very jealous of your 999s StrayAlien, the termis sounds absolutely fantastic on those. Re: Favourite Non-Honda Bikes?
Fancying a 675 daytona next but only when i can afford to keep the little 35 as well. Thing is for me a good 400 is as much sportbike as i feel comfortable "using" on the road. By that i mean i can wind it up now and again without going supersonic! Plus for me a bike should be light and nimble, the corners are fun-the straights are only there to connect them and potentialy risk my licence.... ducati 748 sp also on the list tho i do like the noise on the 675.

Favourite Non-Honda Bikes?
I don't really get why people make their bikes look like another, why not just buy that bike in the first place. I know there's a big price range but I wouldn't try and make my vauxhall look like a Lamborghini.. I'd rather save up and buy the Lamborghini. Albeit that would be a very very long time haha.Pete Diggs wrote:Well the great thing about those is that QB Carbon makes a Desmosedici front fairing for the bike to change the styling. How about that. I didn't find one one their site. Might not do them any more.
