That's a shame Kris but if Mr Springsteen says you've got to work then you don't really have a whole lot of choice
Which one are you?

Pants. I would have and could have done this if it were the week prior. I'm off from 10-23 Sept and can't get any more days after that

Too bad you are not able to go, Kris.
@Tony, I often stay at hotels paid by my contractor which is just 20 minutes from Assen. Good business hotel but maybe worth to book a season special arrangement http://www.hotelspier.nl/nl/arrangement ... /hoogzomer (can be booked for 2 persons only, but maybe you can ask for extra bed in the same room). Price arrangement included 3 x breakfast (hugh variety) and 3 x diner meal per person. Next to A28 and Assen circuit is only 20kms away.
Also stayed here before for a night due to other hotel full booked at TT Assen weekend, try http://www.hoteldeborken.nl/?gclid=CMvc ... tAodtXxmqg (not really for bikers but for everyone/traveller/business/family, rooms are good and all ground floor buildings so able to park bikes next to the window of your room). Prices included breakfast. Check their website.
There is loads more in Assen. Will be up north later this week and early next week. Can check with them for more info if needed.
By the way...I was actually in Hoek van Holland on Sunday afternoon...so had a peek at the ferry Stena Hollandica (but it departed at around 14:15 hour that day to the UK...). Got sunburned and there were some UK bikes parked up just next to the beach and restaurants.

Realistically this isn't happening. More than likely too late to book the ferrires now and as there hasn't been anthing said for about a month I haven't bothered to renew my Passport so please count me out. Shame really because I was looking forward to this.

Right, I am back from my holiday. Anyone made it to Assen BSB? I visited Portimao WSB and absolutely loved it! And my gf too which is a hugh bonus for me! Happy man here! :)
