Hello, I've got the exact same problem, where it will start then after about 1/2 minutes wil start dying (revs slowly drop) then die. Sometimes this happens, sometimes its fine, but mostly it happens

I've tried it with loads of choke, very little choke and it makes no difference. Ive taken it to the shop but they cant find anything wrong with the breather hoses and everytime they start it it doesnt cut out. I need help, any ideas?

Also, even to im not a mechanically skilled person, i live with a mechanic so if you have any ideas I should be able to try them out!

Thanks in advance.

Not quite the post for the question but as an answer, check that the fuel tap is flowing a good volume of fuel when the engine is cranking. Is the vacuum hose to the tap in good condition and connected correctly. The shop should have checked this but who knows. Also, a faulty fuel tap vacuum diaphragm might give intermittent fuel flow.
