The Maxton was posted Monday morning after paypal decided to review the payment for 24 hours! WTF!

I did look at your SP1 style Ti half system and was sorrely tempted but I just don't have the budget for it unfortunately. :(

I am going to be running a standard exhuast for the time being byt may add an end can at a later date.
You mean a chinese copy from ebay? The proper HRC ignition box won't fit the standard loom.

There not worth any money, best to throw it in the bin or get your money back...

HRC carb kit isn't worth it on a road bike, it's made for track racing not road riding...

It's an NC35 HRC CDi Neo, they will fit the standard loom

I managed to have my first child free day today for what felt like months so was able to crack on with some motorcycle based fun.

Now the RVF is on a bench I can work on it properly so I was able to go over a few jobs I'd semi done before and do them properly. First up was to get the exhaust studs put in properly. This is really awkward when your led on the floor but really easy when the bike is up on a bench.

I might have over done the copper slip but it only seems to come in a spray can these days and not in a tub. Gets bloody everywhere except where you seem to want it.

Anyway that job don't the exhaust was cleaned up and reattached.

That job done I tried to practice fit the lower fairing panels to see how they looked, still got loads of stuff to do but I was curious. Slight problem I encountered was that the rads seem to be too big.

Now other than knowing I got these rads off Aly I can't remember what type they were. Also the lower rad doesn't have space or the lugs to attach the fan. Is that really important though as the rads should run 40% cooler than standard. Also i've just taped up the fan connector in case it's ever needed again.

Noted quite a few spares I need to order now so they'll hopefully be sorted soon.

One other thing I seem to have lost my one and only key, is it possible to reorder some originals?
