Hmmm is that a trick of the light or does the rear seat unit tilt of a bit in the 4th pic

I ordered a set of the Chinese fairings via Ebay in the Repsol colours for my sons NC24. 3 weeks after payment the fairings had still not arrived. i chased the seller and received any email saying that I had given the wrong address. So I resent the same address and 2 weeks later the fairings turn up.

Te paint is terrible, dirt inclusions under the paint, one colour running into the other, and broken fixing clips. the holes drilled for the mirrors were in the wrong places and would have to be redrilled to fit the top fairing. The holes for the rear seat are in the wrong place and again will have to be redrilled. All the decals were falling off and generally this stuff is a load of rubbish. My 6 year old grandson could have done a better job of painting this stuff.

I have contacted the seller and his attitude stinks. Basically "you get aftermarket products which are not the same as the originals of 1200 quid and you cant expect good workmanship." I have tried to appeal to Paypal and they are not interested as they say that its a dispute that they will not mediate with.

I have advised the Seller that I require a replacement set with no holes drilled and he can have this stuff back. No joy! Take it or leave it, I have your money so tough Luck.

I am livid at the moment as my son has parted with hard earned cash for this rubbish and feels robbed.

So, I caution anyone tempted to buy this stuff to think twice. Its not even worth what you pay for it. Its very cheap rubbish and not worth half what the seller is asking for. IF anyone wants photos of this stuff please email me and I will gladly supply photos. If you know of anyone who is tempted to buy this stuff please caution them as they may suffer the same as my son and part with hard earned cash to a thieving lowlife at the other side of the world.

If this guy lived closer he would need surgery to get this rubbish out of his rectum!

I sympathise, as i had fairings for my RVF from this guy also.

Look good in the photos - less so in the flesh.

To be fair though, I think you got a bad one. the paint lines are so bad you would think that the wavyness is intentional!?!?!

I managed to secure a refund of £50. Mention a bad writeup on 400Gb and serious negative feedback. That should kick things off.

I know its a right pain in the arse, and you would rather be out riding, but resign yourself to a weekend of dremel and plastec action to sort out the worst of the errors.

If you can - and have the kit - it is worth flatting the laquer and putting a couple of thick additional laquer layers on to protect the already thin paintwork.

There is unlikely to be any primer under the single layer of paint he's bothered to put on. Combine this with the equally thin laquer which will result in the finish deteriorationg (chips & stress cracks etc) within a few fits/refits particulartly round the mounting areas.
