Hang on a minute ... Your fitting a wider tyre to a rim so your going to squeeze the tyre onto the rime so the profile will altered .. and will make the gearing taller and affect the handling a bit.

Oh well, it didn't last long did it... the engine seized on the way home tonight, sounded like a valve went to me but we'll have to see, either way it's seized now :(

Anyone know of a reasonable second hand engine going or of someone that knows how to rebuild these engines?

Bugger.....

its not a monster job, the frame rails have to come off, and so long as you have a jack to lower it its not too bad at all.
As for stripping it down, thats pretty easy too. Its the cover bolts out, then allen key to get the head off think it can be done through the holes in the cams but mine were too tight for normal keys and the socket set was too big to drop through. It all slides up the bolts from there just make sure you take out all the little bolts holding pipework, i left one and couldnt see how the head came off until i saw the little bracket on the pipe attatched to it!

Cerebusx - the guy who bought my engine and bits on ebay is picking up tomorrow and paying cash. If he doesn't show, I'll give you first dibs on the engine.
